T.J. Thorne is the owner of Howdy Home Inspections, LLC. The son of a custom homebuilder, he started his first inspection company in Florida in 2000 after graduating from college in Alaska. Since that time he has seen and done it all. He has completed thousands of inspections and market analyses of foreclosed homes on behalf of some of the largest banks in the country. He has over 20 years of “hands on” construction experience, having renovated houses throughout the Carolinas and West Virginia. He has gutted houses down to the studs and rebuilt them from the ground up with his own hands. He has re-wired and re-plumbed houses, built additions, renovated kitchens and bathrooms, put on new roofs. You name it and T.J. has done it. He is an IAC2 Certified Mold AND Radon inspector. He also has over 15 years experience as a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina. No other inspector in the area has such in depth knowledge in all areas of residential real estate and construction. T.J. is an InterNACHI certified inspector who is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. Daniel comes from a family of builders and contractors. After serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps, Daniel was hired by a national construction company where he honed his skills in all things construction. He has been a framer and trim carpenter, and has renovated million dollar homes. He was awarded the “Anything. Anytime. Anywhere” award by his previous employer as the employee with the expertise and knowledge most capable of building or renovating “anything anytime, anywhere”. He has worked on construction projects for Bank of America, Duke Energy, Wells Fargo and the NASCAR hall of fame. If you are looking for a home inspector who has years of “hands on” construction experience, then Daniel is the inspector for you. Daniel is an InterNachi certified inspector as well as an AIC2 Radon inspector. When not inspecting houses, Daniel can be found renovating and expanding he and his wife’s own “homestead” in York, SC with their two dogs Chance and Izzy and their 4 chickens, affectionately known asl the “The Golden Girls”
